Question such as this cannot be answered in our frail and fleeting language. In order to understand true wisdom, you must experience it for yourself. Seek out the truth and follow the evidence wherever it may lead you, and one day you will reach the bottom of the rabbit hole for yourself.

Lose yourself and you shall find what it is you seek. Deep within the darkest quietest locations in your mind…. there is still you. Without anything, in completely stillness, in nothingness, you realize that you are everything. Reality is a dream in the mind. It is a dream created by the non-dual mind… the completeness from which we all stem and are all apart of. There is no me and there is no you, but at the same time there is us. We are the dreamers.

What are we? Now that is truly the question.

What is the ultimate nature of Reality?
If one answers that it is what we see with our eyes, then how does one justify this with the scientific evidence proving that everything we see with our eyes is in actuality moving at intensely high rates of speed on an atomic level, and thus the space between molecular objects is so great as to throw the entire concept of “solidity” out the bathroom window.
What are your thoughts on this subject, and do atoms possess intelligence, or not?

There is no way to know all that Ultimate Reality could possibly be, so all I can do is create my own, making up the rules as I go along. You’d almost have to be in a gnostic state just to have a glimpse of what it all means, and it’s probably too frightening for most people to explore an idea without their own culturally perceived rules or boundaries getting in the way.

But… Eris is goading me to answer…

When you strip away all of the dogma, all of the cultural bound theories that the passage of time will overturn, and all of the perceptual filters that distort the underlying reality to give us our individual points of view, what is left?
Raccooneatbabby, I don’t know. Please define death, and explain in detail what happens to awareness when such an event occurs.

I have been pondering your question and I am not sure that I can convey my answer the way I mean it.but here’s an attempt.

Since we don’t seem to be able to agree upon a definition of good and bad, does our moral languge serve merely as a mask for a will to power?

It may well do. If you take religion as an example, most that I have looked at share the same basic premise. So, you could say all religions are the same……….except that each take a particle stance. The different focus is where the ‘arguments’ begin. Your god is wrong beuase….etc, etc.

Is there any other avenue toward social reform than to seize and use political power?

Yes, I believe there is but it would take a radical shift in the consciousness of human beings. The realisation that actually, we are all a global family and should be working together instead of using politics as a means of division.

In my ideal world there would be a collective conscience and the wealthy nations of the world would distribute food and other things just because they can. And the nations in need would accept these things just because they can.

No suspicion, no thoughts of undermining the local government……..just people helping each other however they can, whever they are on the planet.
