Rethinking the Subliminal Brain

Current ‘Accepted’ views don’t make any logical sense

I’m really hoping to get some discussion going here!  So please do chime in! This is just the first post on this topic that I’m planning.

What is the subliminal brain?  Why does the subconscious mind affect us in often negative and self-destructive ways?  Do the currently accepted theories on the subconscious mind make any logical sense to you?  Can we find and discuss some novel (and undocumented) thoughts on the subliminal brain?

motivation_iconHypnotists and NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) professionals can access and exercise control over the subliminal mind.  This has been well-documented and I’m accepting it as correct.  What I wonder though is, what biological mechanism brought such a counter-productive trait into our evolution.  It seems to me that our ‘having two minds’ about things would NOT be something that mother nature should have thought to select for.  What was God thinking of when giving us brains that are susceptible to hypnosis?

Does a dog pass up a savory meal for fear of getting fat and/or unattractive?  Would a monkey select a rotten banana to eat because it saw pictures of a dead monkey laying beside bad fruit?

I know that we are more intellectually advanced than dogs or our primate brothers but either there has to be a logical reason for natural selection to infuse us with a subliminal mind — or there needs to be another valid reason why we have a sub-conscious brain.  Let’s talk about that.

If your problem is subliminal then the solution is Hypnotism

The Monkey on your Back

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

It’s my belief that in addition to the human monkey brain that controls your human primate body functions, your cognitive thoughts are formed by your subconscious mind and that is not of the monkey brain, but of your human spirit.  Your spirit has a monkey on its back or your monkey has a soul in control of it, depending on whether you’re thinking with your monkey brain or your spirit’s mind.  That’s one of my core philosophies.

And the Beat goes on

Beat back your monkey

I was a fairly smart guy before my death experience: my high school marks can attest to that.  I didn’t lose any intelligence as a result of my brain having been starved for oxygen for a few minutes and in fact, I feel that I’m smarter now than I was.  Using the commonly held belief that intellect is a function of the physical brain, how is this possible?  According to a nuerosurgeon I once spoke with, I should have suffered massive brain damage-maybe I actually did.  If I was physically brain damaged but retained my smarts, then perhaps it shows that a significant portion of the human intelligence is not monkey brain based but rather that the logic and reasoning we people have, derives from our spirit component.

Suppose that my lack of much spirituality before my death experience was due to my letting the monkey on my back do the thinking for my soul.  Then my spirit’s intellect was forced to take a firmer grip on the thinking because the physical primate brain suffered damage.  Maybe that’s why I immediately felt changed by my death experience.  It’s important that I still felt like ‘me’ during my death, even though my monkey brain was back in my departed corpse.

Here is the point to this post.  When you can accept that you are not your monkey, then you can throw the monkey off your back.  When more of us can think mostly with our spirit selves and less with our monkey brains the future is bright.  I hope this will happen by the 2012.  This sounds rude, but it is true.  Monkey brains are running our world–like the monkeys they are.  Yet even those monkeys have a spirit and they can change too.  See also my post on Human 2.0 by 2012 and on the room of your soul.

Hypno Mind Control

Hypno Mind Control

Just the term ‘hypno mind control’ conjures up exciting mental images that would be perfectly at home in a science fiction novel.  Imagine the possibilities of being able to transmit thoughts that another person was compelled to obey.  Now for the really interesting news, that kind of control is possible and oddly enough, you can thank big business, society and the government for amateur mind control being as easy as it is.  People are so used to being manipulated that it is second nature for them.  Let me give you one example: people will so MANY things for money, than they would ever normally do.  (I’ll leave that up to your imagination as well.)

Mind control is accomplished by one of two means or a combination of the two.  One is hypno mind control hypnosis and the other is by sending subliminal messages.  Both are easy and highly effective.

I read recently that the subconscious mind ‘creates’ the conscious one, but I wonder just how much thought went into that conclusion.  Instead, ask yourself a question: why would nature or natural selection have rooted our waking thoughts based on a set of motives that we have no control over?  It seems pretty stupid on the surface: it’s especially counterproductive to the survival of our species, that one of the major factors influencing our decisions is a ‘death wish’.  But since I only wanted to post on hypno mind control today, I’ll leave that until another post.
